Local Land-Use Plan for "Wilga's mouth" area consists of attractive terrain located close to Krakow city centre, on right Vistula bank in Ludwinów estate region.
The area is being diverse in arragement and investment onditions. East side has got historic sub-urban industrial area features (old workshops of Furrier School) with enclaves of housing estates.
West side, bound by roads, pedestrian paths and blocks of flats area, has being used in great part for comunal gardens and also - by Rozdroże st. multi-family housing estate complex.
The need for formulating a plan for "Wilga's mouth" results from the need for reseving this terrain for future building of "Krakow Canal". This stretegic development (prevention of flood) needs other sorrounding areas to take it into consideration, and answer to the Canal.
